Chobe River Camp is a wildlife and birder’s dream and is the ideal place to break away, just across the river from the world renowned Chobe Nature Reserve, home to one of the largest concentrations of elephant on the African continent. The Camp is also the ideal place for day trips to Victoria Falls, located only 150km away.
Each Twin Tented Chalet at Chobe River Camp provides breathtaking views of the spectacular Chobe River scenery from a private deck. Designed for sustainable living, each chalet is solar-powered and features en-suite bathrooms, ensuring a comfortable stay with mosquito nets fitted over the beds.
The Triple Tented Chalet at Chobe River Camp is an elevated tented chalet built on stilts, offering a unique experience. It features an en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area. The sleeper couch provides additional accommodation for two small children or one adult. The chalet is eco-friendly, with lighting powered by a solar panel and hot water supplied by a solar geyser. It’s important to note that there are no plug points or electricity inside the chalets, and water is sourced directly from the Chobe River.
Explore the diverse wonders of the Zambezi Region with our Boat Cruise activity at Chobe River Camp. Set sail on the Chobe River during early morning or late afternoon cruises, capturing the magical ambiance when the sunlight bathes the surroundings in a warm glow. Cruise through the channels to uncover the rich birdlife and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the region. Additionally, our lodge provides unique activities, such as nature drives and guided canoe tours, offering a fresh perspective on the African wilderness. Please be aware that from July to December, due to low water levels, boat cruises are temporarily unavailable. However, we invite you to enjoy 3-hour game drives in the morning and afternoon during this period.
