Taleni Etosha Village features 45 individual suites, each offering a fully air-conditioned bedroom equipped with an en-suite bathroom and a private patio for an immersive experience of the surrounding beauty. The suites are family-friendly, accommodating two small children (under 12) on a fold-out sleeper couch. The lodge’s facilities include an open-plan bar with a large-screen television, two sparkling pools (including a kiddie pool), and a restaurant serving exquisite cuisine. Guests can also explore a fully stocked utility and curio shop.
Uniquely positioned amid an indigenous Mopane forest, the accommodation units at Taleni Etosha Village ensure maximum privacy and tranquillity.
The 45 individual units offer a spacious air-conditioned bedroom and a modern en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet and wash basin with vanity space. Each twin-bedded room features a fold-out sleeper couch, electronic safe, space for suitcases, hanging space and a refreshment station with a fridge and coffee- or tea making facilities.
Two small children under the age of 12 years can be accommodated on the fold-out sleeper couch free of charge (meal charges applicable) when sharing the room with two full paying adults.
The patio and outside seating area create an ideal space to sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
The two handicapped and wheelchair friendly units are designed with a ramp instead of stairs, a more spacious bathroom for easy wheelchair access and the room has a different interior arrangement for easier access.
Taleni Etosha Village offers two distinct game drive experiences, catering to different preferences and durations. Each open-view game viewing vehicle accommodates a maximum of 10 passengers, ensuring an intimate and immersive safari adventure.
Morning Game Drives: Embark on morning drives to Etosha National Park, commencing around 06H30, with timing subject to seasonal gate variations. These approximately 6-hour excursions trace a route through the Andersson Gate to Okaukuejo, visiting various waterholes in a circular path back to Okaukuejo. Led by experienced guides brimming with extensive knowledge about the area and its wildlife, guests enjoy a “running commentary” throughout the journey.
Full-Day Game Drives: For those seeking a more extensive exploration, full-day trips to Etosha National Park also commence around 06H30, accommodating the changing gate opening times. The route, similar to the morning drives, extends from Andersson Gate to Okaukuejo, encompassing various waterholes in a wide circular pattern back to Okaukuejo. Guests have the option to order lunch packs from the reception or make an optional lunch stop at one of the restcamps within the Park. Throughout this full-day adventure, the knowledgeable guides provide captivating insights with their “running commentary,” enhancing the overall safari experience.
What better way than to end an exciting day of game-viewing in Etosha with a relaxing Sundowner Drive.
We depart from the Taleni Etosha Village in the late afternoon in our open game viewer vehicles. You will experience breath-taking views of the Mopanie forests with occasional photo stops where our knowledgeable guides explain the fauna and flora.
For sunset we go higher up to the mountains to watch a spectacular sunset while enjoying sundowner drinks and snacks.

Join us on an extraordinary celestial journey where we’ll introduce you to the fundamental constellations, the dazzling expanse of the Milky Way, and offer a closer look at the planets through our telescope.
Please note that stargazing is weather-dependent and seasonal, available when constellations are prominently visible, typically spanning from May to October.
